All riders must own or lease a horse to take lessons at Tally Ho. Contact Diane at 801-209-6518 for more information.
Lessons are designed specifically for the rider and his or her horse. Often, a combined lesson and training program is the most effective approach to help the horse and rider progress consistently. Generally, Dressage is taught in private lessons, and jumping is taught in groups. Come talk with us regarding your goals.
To learn about leasing or buying a horse, please speak to Diane or Sheri. Even if you are just starting out, we can help you find a horse that fits your skills and budget.
Young Riders Academy
All Tally Ho students must own or full-lease a horse in order to participate in the many types of activities offered. Programs are custom designed to the individual, so that horse and rider may achieve their goals together. Riders may participate in local camps, horse shows, camping trips with their horse, and many other types of activities.
Many of our Academy riders participate in competitions, and some ultimately make riding a key part of their career. We work with each academy rider to develop goals so that they may build skills in a variety of areas. Academy riders also help beginner riders become responsible around the barn, and assist with teaching them horse management skills. Riders are working when at the barn, whether they are grooming & riding their own horse, cleaning tack, or helping maintain a clean and safe environment.
